with an apprenticeship as an industrial clerk

At BODE, students in the practice network complete industrial vocational training in combination with studies specializing in economics at the University of Kassel. You will receive financial support from our company.

What qualifications do you need to have?

General higher education entrance qualification with a good to excellent grade point average

Interest in business management contexts

Willingness to learn, confident demeanor, excellent communication skills, and independence

How is the apprenticeship period structured?

Your apprenticeship usually lasts seven semesters at the University of Kassel and concludes with a Bachelor of Science in Economics. You will complete the practical phases in the company during the lecture-free period. After two and a half years, you will also receive a vocational qualification as an industrial clerk if you pass the examination.

Key points of the apprenticeship

  • Industrial vocational apprenticeship in combination with studies in economics
  • Support of company processes from the initiation of orders to service and implementation
  • Responsibility for tasks in the areas of materials and production management, sales, human resources, accounting, and controlling

 

Remuneration

  • Collective remuneration based on the Hessian metal industry
  • Gross monthly salary currently €1,149.50 plus vacation and Christmas bonuses as well as other additional payments under collective agreements
  • For good or excellent results: bonus and permanent contract offer
  • For good or excellent results, the opportunity to remain with the company as a working student during the Master’s degree program
