As a globally active company, we bear a special responsibility for the sustainable development of high-quality products that take into consideration the application and safety needs of our customers and users yet still meet the requirements of health, safety, and environmental protection. The 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) of the United Nations ensure the global promotion of sustainable development in the economic, social, and environmental fields. The sustainability strategy of BODE is based on these international goals.
 

Corporate social responsibility

For us, sustainable development also means consciously using resources sparingly and taking up all opportunities to save energy. We adhere to legal requirements as well as compliance and corporate governance standards and recognized CSR standards. Our progress in terms of sustainable development is comprehensively documented in the CSR Report of Schaltbau Holding AG. We are proud of our silver medal in the EcoVadis assessment.

ISO 9001 2025
ISO 9001:2015 is a globally recognized standard for quality management systems that focuses on the general requirements for effective quality management. By implementing this standard, we can ensure consistent product and service quality.

The KBA (knowledge-based approach) supplement refers specifically to requirements in connection with motor vehicles and their parts. This certification ensures that our quality management system meets the highest standards in the automotive industry.

ISO TS 22163
ISO 22163:2017, also known as IRIS (International Railway Industry Standard), is a standard developed specifically for quality management systems in railroad technology. This certification ensures that our processes meet the high requirements of the rail industry.

IATF 16949 2016
IATF 16949:2016 is an internationally recognized quality standard for the automotive industry. This certification sets out strict requirements for the quality management system of companies in the automotive industry. By implementing this standard, we ensure that our processes are efficient and meet the highest quality standards.

 

DIN EN 15085-2 is a standard for the welding technology of rail-bound vehicles and vehicle parts. This certification ensures that our welding processes meet the highest requirements, particularly in the context of rail vehicles.

DIN EN ISO 3834-2 is a certification that focuses on quality requirements for the welding of metallic materials. By complying with this standard, we ensure that our welding processes meet the highest quality standards.

DIN 6701-2 is a standard for the bonding of rail-bound vehicles and vehicle parts. This certification ensures that our bonding processes meet the strict requirements, particularly in the context of rail vehicles.
